Money should move as fast
as software does.

Velarum was built for a world where AI agents make decisions and execute them — without waiting for a human to click "Approve". We give those agents the rails they need to move value, safely and programmatically.

Why we built this

In 2024, we watched autonomous AI agents grow sophisticated enough to manage complex multi-step workflows — but still be blocked the moment they needed to pay a supplier, fund a sub-agent, or settle a trade. The bottleneck was always the payment layer.

Legacy payment APIs were designed for humans filling in forms. Velarum is designed for AI agents and the humans who supervise them — a non-custodial Permission Layer with AgentAuthorization (four user-defined thresholds), PaymentIntent (8-state machine), Webhook, and Audit Index. Velarum never holds user keys; users sign in their own wallets.
